• LSI products are specifically engineered to exceed the standards set out as Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emitting
• LSI was one of the first flooring producers to incorporate DINP into their manufacturing. DINP is an alternate soften-er to DENP used in the production of PVC. DINP is not considered to have human endocrine disrupting effects nor is it classified as a human carcinogen by The World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC)
• LSI meets or exceeds the following material safety standards:
• State of California Section 01350 criteria for volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions qualifying for installation in schools and office buildings within the state of California
• European Union directive 67/548/EEC confirming DINP safety
• State of California’s South Coast Air Quality Management District’s Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) rule 1168 mandatory requirement set by the U.S. Green Building Councils, LEED Indoor Environmental Quality category
• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulation 29 CFR 1910.1200 for manufacturing material safety
